We are merely stewards of this land.

About Us
The Apple Core Project of Western Colorado promotes fruit tree preservation through mapping and collecting information regarding fruit tree varieties, gathering historical information, and propagating rare heirloom fruit genetics via grafting and planting new trees. We are passionate about educating current orchard owners, school children and the general public about heirloom fruit and fruit trees. We will connect with local distribution resources, expanding statewide and nationally as appropriate, leading to expansion of the fruit growing economy of the Western Slope.
