About the event

Join the Apple Core Project for an afternoon of grafting in Montrose at the Ute Indian Museum on Saturday, April 15th and Naturita Community Center in Naturita on Saturday, April 22nd.  In this class you will learn how to graft apple trees and explore fruit growing history in the region. You will receive up to 3 rootstock, a grafting knife and new growth cuttings (scion) along with refreshments. More rootstocks and scion may be purchased online at our store here or email in advance, however, if you want to order special varieties of scion or need more than 10 rootstock or scion, please inquire directly by April 1st.
