Join the Apple Core Project for an afternoon of grafting using new growth cuttings from local heirloom apple trees. In this class you will explore the fruit growing history in the region and learn how to graft apple trees.

About the event
Join the Apple Core Project for an afternoon of grafting class outside at our Demo Orchard Farm and learn about the fruit history of the region. In this class you will learn how to graft apple trees and explore fruit growing history in the region. We will be grafting outside or in covered tent area. For grafting, you will receive rootstock (for 3-4 trees), knife to keep and other materials are included. You will also be able to purchase extra rootstock and scion (new growth). If you'd like to order special varieties of scion or more than 5 rootstock, please contact us by February 15th at applecoreprojectcolorado@gmail.com.
