Often called Yellow Delicous, this apple appeared on a teh farm of Anderson Mullins in West Virginia. It is a seedling of the Grimes Golden tree. It is a medium to large apple with a dry golden-yellow skin that does bruise easily. Flesh is firm, crisp, juicy and mildly sweet. 

 

Pollination: Self-fertile Tree

Ripens: Fall

Uses: All purpose, eating but great for desserts and pie making. High sugar content for cider making

Storage: Not great
